STEP 1 : Start by writing up each step you take when working on a specific task. It’s a good idea to write this up in a document whilst you’re actually doing the task, so you don’t miss out any steps, and so you can edit and update as you go.
NOTES : You’ll want to make this as detailed as possible, without it being too complicated. Anything that makes sense to explain should be as clear as possible, as if a complete beginner with no previous experience was going to be following the step-by-step instructions.
STEP 2 : Once you’ve written up the task process, go to ClickFunnels, use the ClickFunnels tab at the top of the screen to access the list of funnels, and then go into the SOP funnel.
STEP 3 : Go to the SOP Template page on the left-hand side and click ‘Clone Funnel Step’. Then go to Publishing, change the name of the funnel step to the name of the task that the SOP is for and click 'Update Funnel Step'. It will then take you back to the Overview, where you can click ‘Add to Funnel’ to add this step to the SOP funnel.
STEP 4 : Once you’ve added the step, you can go ahead and edit the page. Copy and paste each of the steps from your document into this page, following the set up of the template. If you need extra boxes for steps, you can hover over each section and click ‘Clone’ to duplicate it.
NOTES : It’s a good idea to click save every so often so you don’t lose any progress you’ve made.
STEP 5 : If there’s any supporting documents, spreadsheets, software or other resources that you use when completing this task, you can add these by cloning the 'Additional Resource Link' button, and dragging it over to where you want to place it. To edit this button, click on it, and from there you can change the button name and add an action with the link of the resource it should lead to.
STEP 6 : If there’s any example images that you think would be helpful when completing this task, you can attach the images by clicking on the ‘Demo Image’ spaces.
STEP 7 : If you scroll to the top of the page you’ll see spaces to enter the SOP Title, and a section where you can add which member of the Wonder Team this task will be assigned to. Then you can go ahead and create 3 goals for this task, based on what the intended results are.
NOTES: You can refer to the other SOPs for inspiration when writing these goals. (Notes are font size 24)
STEP 8 : Click 'Save'. Go to 'Settings' and select 'Seo Meta Data'. Replace the generic title with the SOP Title.
Return to the SOP funnel by clicking the exit button.
STEP 9 : Copy the link for the SOP you’ve just written up. Go to the SOP Table of Contents page and open it up to edit. Scroll down to the section your new SOP will be in (each team member has their own section) and clone the SOP Title button. Then you can go ahead and edit the button to add the name of the task and attach the link. Remember to save the page before you exit.
